Is Room-ez free?

Yes — downloading, building a profile, swiping, matching, and chatting are free. Room-ez Premium adds unlimited swipes and power features, but the free app is fully usable on its own.

Where is Room-ez available?

Room-ez is launching city by city. Set your location in the app to see roommates and rooms near you — and if we're not in your city yet, we're probably on the way.

How does matching work?

Your profile covers budget, move-in date, preferred neighborhoods, and lifestyle — sleep schedule, cleanliness, pets, guests, and more. Room-ez scores compatibility between you and every profile you see, and shows you why you match. Chat only opens when both people say yes.

Can I list a room I already have?

Absolutely. Post your room with photos, price, and move-in date, and Room-ez shows it to compatible people looking in your area. You review applications — including documents — right in the app.

How do applications and documents work?

When you find a room you want, you apply in the app and upload the documents the lister asks for. Everything is transmitted and stored securely, and only shared with the lister reviewing your application.

What safety tools does Room-ez have?

Every account is verified by phone number. You can report or block anyone from their profile or your chat, and our team reviews reports promptly. You can also delete your account — and its data — at any time from Settings.

Is Room-ez on Android?

Room-ez is iPhone-first for now. Android is on the roadmap — follow along and we'll let you know the moment it lands.
